Mathiellus

Mathiellus, a young squire of Normandy, married Matilda, Widow of Hugh Grentemaisnil. This lady left her country for Palestine, - more for the love of the young squire and to avoid the anger of her relations, than from the wish to perform a holy pilgrimage - and died at Joppa (Jaffa).
